Detailed itinerary
Arrive to the airport in Yangon. Meeting your driver and transfer to the city center.
After short rest, then visit Sule Pagoda, High Court & City Hall , River Art Gallery and Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon.
At 08:00 am, take Yangon Cycling Train to suburb area for around 1 hours.
Visit Dayingone Railwats-Street Local Market
Driving to Htauk Kyant to visit World War II War Cemetery
Afternoon around 02:00 PM, High Tea at Le Plantau – The Menu Spring High tea.
Then Turn back to hotel and take rest. Overnight at Yangon.
This morning, take a flight to Heho. Upon arrival Heho airport, driven through a bumpy road (90 miniutes) to Pindaya.
Visit Pindaya Cave – set in a limestone ridge overlooking a picturesque lake where thousands of different types of Buddha images are a display in the various cave chambers)
Continue to visit Shan paper making workshop & Shan Traditional Umbrella Workshop.
Then proceed to Kalaw which was formerly a British Hill Station
Visit Kalaw Railways Station situated at 4297 ft above sea level
Overnight at Kalaw.
Continue your trip by driving to Pindaya. Sightseeing to Pindaya Cave, traditional Shan paper and Umbrella making villages.
Arriving Inle Lake in the late afternoon. Overnight in Inle
Start sightseeing by boat to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – sacred and almost shapeless Buddha Image are housed
Then to Floating village Start Sightseeing by boat to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – sacred and almost shapeless Buddha Image are housed
Then to Floating village of HeyaYwama, you can see the local tribe Long Necks & also visit a couple of handicraft productions workshop.
Afternoon, walking along Main Tauk Bridge
Transfer to Main Tauk Village by Tuk Tuk for around 20mintues
Then visit to Main Tauk Tawya Monastery area for panoramic view of Inle Lake
Proceed to Bo Te’ area, Inle for beautiful sunset with Intha’s Leg-rowing show in Inle Lake
Overnight at Inle.
Transfer to Heho airport for taking a flight to Lashio . Upon arrival Lashio airport, driven to Hsipaw
Overnight at Hsipaw
Make a walking through the rice field, over 100ft height, a nice pond at the base, splendid view of ancient pagoda & Shan Royal Tomb, can be seen from the rice field, the limestone cave is aside the fall.
Afterward, turn to Farmer’s villages, the panoramic scenery of paddy, seasonal crops, mountain river, living style of Shan Villages, House Wife home business (Hand fan, basket weaving with Bamboo)
Get on the boat & upstream for nice scenery with the mountain, valley & fruit plantations along the river
Go visit to a Shan village which has typical house with a small charming garden, monastery. (Lunch arrangement: Shan Noodle Food Only)
Turn back to hotel Overnight at Hsipaw
Visit Bawgyo Pagoda before taking the train to Pyin Oo Lwin. Upon arrival Pyin Oo Lwin, transfer to hotel.
Overnight at PyinOoLwin.
This morning, visit Pyin Oo Lwin – the British hill station with Victoria style houses.
Visit local market and walk around the town to watch the old British style of houses that cannot be seen even in Britain.
Proceed to Pwekauk waterfall, and then continue to National Botanical Garden to learn the different species of trees, plants and flowers.
Turn back to Mandalay for around 2 hours driving.
Excursion to Amarapura, visit Silk Weaving Factory for Traditional Dressings of Man & Lady “Can enjoy shopping for silk products there”
Visit to the world famous “World longest wooden bridge” “U Bein Bridge”
Overnight at Mandalay
Transfer to jetty for a boat trip to Mingun.
Arrival to Mingun, visit Mingun Bell “The Third Largest Bell in the world”
Turn back to Mandalay. Visit Maha Myatmuni Buddha Image
Shwenandaw Kyaung or Golden Palace Monastery – a superb traditional wooden building
Visit Kuthodaw Pagoda which is known as the world’s biggest book
Enjoy sunset with panoramic view from Mandalay Hill.
Overnight at Mandalay
Take a morning boat to Bagan. Enjoy the scenes of local way of life along the way of Ayarwaddy River. Lunch on board
Evening, arrival to Bagan then transfer to hotel & check in.
Overnight at Bagan
Visit to Shwezigon Pagoda which as Built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine
Ananda Temple – with four standing Buddha Images
Dhamayangyi the most massive structure in Bagan.
Visit to the lacquer ware workshop. Bagan is the major centre for the lacquer ware industry where the handicraft has been established for nearly two centuries, and still practiced in the traditional manner
Sunset at Nan Myit Tower with the panoramic view of Bagan
Overnight at Bagan
Breakfast at hotel. Take a flight back to Yangon.
In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Lake – the 2nd largest Lake of Yangon and Bogyoke Market. Overnight at Yagon
