Detailed itinerary:

 Day 1: Welcome to Vientiane

Arrive to the airport in Vientiane city, pick up and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city. Overnight in Vientiane

 Day 2: Vientiane city – Phou Khao Khway – Lao Pako (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

At 8.00am, pick you up at hotel and transfer to national park PhouKhao Kway or “Mountain of the horn of the Ox” is a genuine breath with its many waterfalls and flora with over 50% of wild orchids Laos and many other plant species yet. It is also home to many mammals such as wild elephants.

The trek starts at PhaXay where you have an unobstructed view of the waterfall. Then walking into the forest and along your walk, you will have the opportunity to observe nature and plants. The market moves in a jungle varied between tropical forest, bamboo and orchids and of course if you are lucky you may be able to see wildlife.

Lunch is taken along the river and you will appreciate the true value of the calm of this place. Remember to observe the many butterflies that will probably turn around you during your meal.

Then transfer to Lao Pako. Arrive here in late afternoon.

You can watch the beautiful sunset on the Nam Ngum River while enjoying your dinner. Spend the night in a bungalow with stunning views of the River. Overnight in Lao Pako.

 Day 3: Lao Pako – Vientiane city & departure (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Transfer to Somsamai where you go for a relaxing cruise over the river to the lodge of Ban Pako. While browsing the Nam Ngum River, do not miss the fabulous spectacle of wildlife and rural along the banks.

Get away in the middle of the jungle in an area of protected forest, located opposite the lodge. Journey through the forest with an experienced guide who will share his vast knowledge on the ecosystems of monsoon forest and wildlife that live there.

After this short hike, arrive at Ban Pako for having lunch at the lodge restaurant.

This afternoon, enjoy a swim in the heart of the jungle, just steps from the lodge. Relax in the herbal sauna and cool off in a small pool of spring water. You will also be possible to test the traditional Lao massage (not included in the price).

Return to Vientiane and drop you off at the airport. End service.
