Acrossing Han river in Da Nang city, there are six bridges, including Rong bridge which is widely known as a very special symbol of this beautiful city.
Being awarded as one out of five most beautiful bridges in South East Asia and top 30 of the most remarkable bridges all over the world, Rong bridge owns its own peace in the morning, being in harmony with the peaceful pace of life of local people there. Then, evening is the ideal time when city lights up colorfully and Rong bridge has its own fanciful scenery, which makes it outstanding in the center of the city.
One of the most interesting questions about Rong bridge that many tour guides and local people in Da Nang have been asked by most of the tourists once visiting this city is that “What time will Rong bridge breath fire and breath water?”. The answer for this question is that if you do not want to miss this spectacular and unique performance, you should get to this bridge at 9 PM every Saturday, Sunday or national holidays of Vietnam to see this “dragon” breath fire and water.
Before the time the performance takes place, a number of local people and tourists often gather along Han river side, or at the high buildings there to have the beautiful view in advance. Tourists will have chance to enjoy 2 stages of this performance: breathing fire in the front (2 turns – 9 times per turn) and breathing water in the back (3 turns).
After enjoying the wonderful scenery of Rong bridge, tourists can walk along romantic Han river side, visit Love Bridge and Dragon Carp statue, listen to Bai Choi – a traditional Vietnamese music and take part in many different traditional Vietnamese games…
