GROUP TOUR ITINERARY

  Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta – overnight in Can Tho (Meal: lunch)

At 07.30am, leave Ho Chi Minh city. It takes one hour and thirty minutes driving to get to My Tho town. One the way, travelers will have chance to see these beautiful landscape along the road such as the green rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong river and the busy Long An town. End route, Our car will stop at Mekong rest stop where you can take a rest and see bonsai garden.

Arrive to My Tho town, visit Vinh Trang pagoda an oldest ancient one in Southern Vietnam. Known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. It’s architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture

Then transfer to the pier boat for getting on a motorized boat. Take a leisurely boat ride in Tien river to enjoy fresh air, to see the peaceful life of the local people, Passing the stilt house, the fishing floating farm, the four Islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, Unicorn)

After passing Rach Mieu bridge, we disembark at Thoi Son Islet that locates on Phoenix Island. Take a leisurely walking on the village paths, visit local people’s home, orchard garden and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.

Then visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Local people also have python farm for those tourist, who like adventure can take a photo with pythons.

Take a hand- rowed sampan through the creeks for sightseeing the natural water coconut trees a symbol in the Delta areas.

Return to the motorized boat then cruising to Ben Tre province, visit coconut candy workshop to know how to make delicious candies by hand.

Having lunch at Riverside restaurant

After lunch, cruising to Unicorn Island to visit crocodile farm and visit the remains of Coconut belief.

Return to the dock and proceed to Can Tho. After two hours driving, we arrive to Can Tho.

Leisure in the evening. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho city – Cai Rang floating market – Con Dao Island (Meal: Breakfast, lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel. At 07.00am, transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf. Tourist will have chance to see morning streets market with many products homemade such as fruits, vegetables, cake… are sold on the way to the wharf.

Cruising in the river to the busy Cai Rang floating market, one of the biggest floating market in Southern Vietnam. Visitors will be surprised to explore “the method of the business” in the floating market areas. It is really impressed.

After exploring the floating market, visitors will visit the place to see how they make rice vermicelli noodle and the orchard garden. Wandering in the village and  try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only one bamboo tree.

Cruise back Ninh Kieu wharf.

Stop for lunch.

 After having lunch, transfer to Can Tho airport for boarding the flight to Con Dao (14.20 – 15.20). End service

PRIVATE TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong Delta – overnight in Can Tho (Meal: lunch)

08.00am, pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and depart for Cai Be. Stopping to take photos in Tan An town and overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields.

On arrival in Cai Be, set off by motor boat cruising along river. Then wander into the small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

Keep cruising to Vinh Long through a series of small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made.

Arrive in Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town, where you can immerse yourself in nature. Attend a cooking class with local chef, then enjoy your lunch.

Then go kayaking along the cannels. This is a unique experience in the Mekong Delta.

Return to the dock and proceed to Can Tho. After two hours driving, we arrive to Can Tho.

Leisure in the evening. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho city – Cai Rang floating market – Con Dao Island (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

At 05.00am, boarding on a motorized boat to Cai Rang floating market. In the way, you can see many bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. You have chance to know how local people go fishing and transport passengers as well as product by the waterway.

Approaching Cai Rang floating market, you can reappear the selling activities in the past by using a traditional “offering pole” for exchanging consumer goods.

Having breakfast on cruise at the morning floating market with hu tieu and milk café

After exploring the floating market, visitors will visit the place to see how they make rice vermicelli noodle and the orchard garden. Wandering in the village and try your best to cross the bamboo bridge which is built only one bamboo tree.

08.30am, return to Ninh Kieu Wharf and visit Can Tho market. You can try local cuisine here (on guest’s account)

Transfer Cai Son village to look at the rural activities of the local people. Visiting fishing farm and see fishing performance.

Then attend handmade traditional cake class and enjoy it.

Continue running along the village access the river, visitors sometimes see the rural activities of the local people and enjoy seasonal fruit at orchard garden. You feel like relaxing at the peaceful and quite garden.

 After lunch, transfer to Can Tho airport for boarding the flight to Con Dao (14.20 – 15.20). End service
