ANZAC Day Tour

Summary itinerary

 Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Vung Tau (Meal: lunch)

    At 08.00am, meeting our tour guide at hotel in Ho  Chi Minh city  and depart for Vung Tau Beach. A relaxing day with nice beach and fresh air is appearing to your eyes after one and half hours driving from Ho Chi Minh city.

    At 9.30am, arrive to Vung Tau and take your time at beach for sunbathing, swimming or beach sport activities.

    At 12.00, having lunch at restaurant

    After lunch, visit Jesus Christ Statue located on Nho Mountain. The Statue’s construction was started in 1972 and it soon became a major work of religious art and architecture area and one of the famous landscapes in Vung Tau.

    Next, the group will be admired the notable Theravada Buddhist temple – Thich Ca Phat Dai pagoda. Here, tourists will learn more about the life of Buddha and pray luck and health for your family and friends.

Leisure in the late afternoon. Overnight in Vung Tau

 Day 2: Vung Tau – Long Tan horse – Nui Dat hill – Long Phuoc tunnels – Ho Chi Minh city (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

    04:00am– 25th April, Our guide picks you up at hotel in Vung Tau city. Travel to Ba Ria, then travel to Long Tan village to visit Long Tan Cross site. Join the Dawn service at 5:00am with Australian veterans & tourists.

    6:30am Going to Hoa Long village, visit Nui Dat Former Base– where Australian soldiers used to operate from 1966-1972.

    Visit Lusbcome air field, RAR memorial site, Kangaroo pad, SAS hill,   Artillery rock, old bunker & engineer base.

    Visit Digger cafe which owns by Australian guy. You will see his collection of units he has been collecting around Nui Dat area.

    Then travel The Horse shoe – fire support base; Long Phuoc Tunnel & its museum.

    Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city. The tour ends around 16.00
