Detailed itinerary:

 Day 1: Welcome to Siem Reap – Angkor Wat

     Arrive to the airport in Siem Reap, you will be met by our local guide and driver transferred to your hotel. After short rest, we take a trip to Angkor Wat – one of the world’s wonder. End the day with the climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain to view a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Siem Reap – A full day for Angkor temples (Meal: breakfast)

     Today, visit Angkor Thom – the great city of the ancient Khmer empire. The visit includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace.

     In the afternoon, visit Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang and continue visiting the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that a visitor may remember forever. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 Day 3: Siem Reap – Kulen Mountain & Banteay Srei (Meal: breakfast)

     This morning, drive to the Kulen Mountain of 70km from the town. Climb the mountain then visit the great waterfall and an ancient stream carved with thousands of lingams, god and deities of Hindu on the bed of the stream of more than a thousand year ago. Then visit an old Buda statue carved, lie reclining, on a giant mountain rock.

     Climb down the mountain and visit to Banteay Srei. Banteay Srei is the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture. This is a small temple but its carvings are so impressive. It is nearly everyone’s favorite’s site.  Return to the town and overnight in Siem Reap.

 Day 4: Siem Reap – Wat Thmei Pagoda – Silk Farm – Tonle Sap Lake (Meal: breakfast)

     Transfer to visit Wat Thmei pagoda, located on one of the roads leading to Angkor Wat, is worth pausing at particularly if you won’t be visiting Phnom Penh. Here at this active monastery you can understand more about Cambodia’s tragic history since this now relatively built up area of town was formerly a site of killing fields in Siem Reap during the Khmer Rouge era.

     The Silk Farm definitely needs to be on your list of things to see in Siem Reap, because you are sure to find it very interesting to see how silk is made. It is located 16km from Siem Reap. At the Silk Farm you can take a guided tour around the farm, where you will be shown how silk is made

     In the afternoon drive to Lake Tonle Sap where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. We will board a boat and visit the Chong Kneah village where we’ll see floating houses, farms and even a floating hospital, Mangrove forest. Return to the center and stop over at  Artisan D’ Angkor: the Handicraft center for the wood and stone carving processes. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 Day 5: Siem Reap – departure (Meal: breakfast)

     Leisure until transfer to the airport in Siem Reap.
