Detailed itinerary:
Day 1 : Welcome to Siem Reap – cruising on Tone Sap LakeArrive to the airport in Siem Reap, you will be met by our local guide and driver transferred to your hotel. After short rest, take a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating village that completes with schools, hospitals, and restaurants, shops and floating crocodile farm. Back to town to visit the schools of fine art “Le Artisan D’Angkor”. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap – A full day for Angkor Wat and Angkor temples (Meal: Breakfast)Today, visit Angkor Thom – the great city of the ancient Khmer empire. The visit includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant and Leper King Terrace, Phimeanaka and the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that a visitor may remember forever.
Afternoon we visit Angkor Wat – one of the wonder of the world. End the day with the climb to the summit of Bakheng Mountain to view a spectacular sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh by Morning Flight(Meal: Breakfast)The following destination of our trip will be Phnom Penh via a short morning flight from Siem Reap.On arrival you are greeted by our guide and transferred to hotel.
After short rest, take a sightseeing around the town. Visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom, the next stop is one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Toul Tom Pong; all called the “Russian Market”. We enjoy a walk around this bustling trading center and see plenty of local handicrafts and artifacts. The painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge still can be seen at the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 4: Phnom Penh – departure (Meal: Breakfast)Leisure until transfer to the airport in Phnom Penh.
