Vietnam Train e – tickets available now

According to Vietnam railway official, train e – ticket online system was available since Sep 10^th 2015. Passengers now have been able to forgot the time spending hours to purchase train tickets at train booking offices since this mentioned date. Train e – tickets online system permits passengers can purchase train tickets at anywhere and anytime via the website of Vietnam railway official www.dsvn.vn or http://www.vetau.com.vn/

After choosing your preferable destination, timing and seat, you can pay for the ticket via online by filling your credit card information as per instructed. When payment is proceeded, train e – ticket will be sent to you via email or you can print it out immediately.

In order to get on train smoothly, please bring your own train e – tickets and your ID or passport for checking in formality.

Train schedule from Ho Chi Minh city to Binh Thuan, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Ha Noi

There is just an unique train station in Ho Chi Minh city. Its name is Sai Gon station that locates at 01 Nguyen Thong street, district 3, Ho Chi Minh city. It is about 15 minutes driving from the city center to the train station and costs around 50.000 VND (~US$2.40) for one way transfer by a taxi 4 seater or 7 seater.

It appears Sai Gon as a departure point on train ticket for those routes depart from Ho Chi Minh city formerly named Saigon. Most of people had updated this information since 1976 but they still keep Sai Gon instead of Ho Chi Minh city on train ticket.
