1/ What is a ‘Vietnam visa on arrival’?
‘Vietnam visa on arrival’ is an invitation letter which permits you to pick up the visa upon arrival. It is a really good alternative because it saves you the hassle of having to go to a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate and it saves your precious time. This visa is only stamped at Hanoi (Noi Bai airport), Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat airport) and Danang city (Da Nang airport) and is not available at land border crossings.
2/ How does the visa online work?
It is easy to apply the visa online. Please advise us your passport information such as your full name, your date of birth, your passport number, your nationality and your passport expiry.
After we obtain the approval letter for you, we will forward you a copy by email. Copies of the same document will be forwarded on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration checkpoints at International Airports only. When you arrive in Viet Nam, the Immigration officers will have those documents ready and will be able to issue your entry visa quickly.
3/ How long does it takes to get the approval letter?
Normally, the approval letter is processed and emailed you within two (2) to three (03) business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays).
4/ What if my passport has expired?
To apply for a visa to Vietnam, your passport must have at least 6 month’s validity. Therefore, if your passport is about to expire, please get a new one before applying for your visa in order to avoid unwanted problems at the airport.

6/ What do I need to provide?
Apart for providing your details on the application form, upon your arrival you will also need to provide Immigration officers with a passport sized- photo.
7/ What do I do at the airport?
When you arrive at the airport, collect your baggage and proceed to the Immigration counters. Provide the officer with your passport, ‘Vietnam visa on arrival’ approval letter, a passport sized – photo) and payment for your visa (see below). The process usually takes 5 to 15 minutes. It’s as simple as that.

9/ What is stamping fee and how much is it?
The stamping fee is the fee you are required to pay at the Vietnamese airport in order to get the official visa stamped in your passport. It is 45 USD for a single entry visa (1-3 months), 65 USD for a multiple entry visa (1 month within 29 days), 95 USD for a multiple entry visa (30 days to 3 months). The stamp fee must be in cash, no credit cards are accepted.

10/ What are the payment options?
