Delta fireflies day trip

Tour Program

Mekong River does not only attracts tourist by day time but it also have so many interesting things when the night falls. The trip will bring you close to the nature, take a leisurely sampan along the small canals under palm trees, hearing insects noisy around you and the flashing bugs lighting up on trees. It will be a nice trip in your memory.

Detailed itinerary:

At 14.00, pick you up at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and depart to Mekong Delta. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.

On arrival at Mekong Delta, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank.

Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals.

Having dinner at a nice riverside restaurant

At nightfall we started out on an expedition to find fireflies. Our boat will run slowly along the river banks where you can see fireflies are lighting up on the leaves of trees

Flashing bugs lighting up on our fingers and frogs croaking nearby it is a nice time to remember.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city. The tour ends around 21.00
