The Mekong  Eyes Classic combines regional boat-building traditions with modern comforts to become the perfect holiday vessel to cruise the Mekong Delta in style. At 39 m long and 8.5 m wide, the Mekong Eyes river cruiser was built out of an old, traditional rice barge with the finest quality wood, and artfully decorated by skilled craftsmen of the Mekong Delta.

There are 14 lavishly furnished twin and double rooms, each with a private bathroom with shower and hot water, wardrobe and air-conditioning. All rooms offer a fantastic panoramic view over the Mekong River.

The Dragon Eyes is a vacation paradise for couples, families or friends. Cruising on the vast waters and the small canals of the mighty Mekong river is a great way to discover the Mekong Delta.

At the same time the river cruise boats are big enough to provide you with ample space for relaxation and privacy. Each of the Dragon Eyes provides around 100 m2 for its guests. It’s like a floating hotel:

Two spacious private cabins (14 — 16 m2), providing a nicely designed bath room, a French balcony, sitting area, individual air conditioning, fans and fantastic Mekong river views through the panorama windows.

Mekong Melody (2 cabins) is a cosy river boat, perfectly well-suited to private cruises. Entirely made of wood, it sails with ease on the many winding canals of the Mekong Delta, in perfect harmony with its natural setting. Displaying a subtle combination of comfort and charm, the boat also benefits from a high quality and personalised service provided by an attentive crew. Thanks to Mekong Melody, the Mekong Delta’s secrets are being unveiled along the river in a quiet and intimate atmosphere imbued with magic.

Douce Mekong (4 cabins) is a modern river boat entirely made of wood that sets the exploration of the Mekong Delta in an authentic and elegant setting which perfectly fits in with the natural surroundings. It combines charm and comfort for a truly quiet cruise on the winding canals of the Delta.

Le Cochinchine cruise (8 cabins): Conceived as the traditional rice-barges that fill the Mekong waterways, Le Cochinchine is an elegant and delightful river boat that promises a peaceful and highly comfortable journey along the many canals of the Mekong Delta. All dressed-up in shiny wood, it perfectly fits in the amazing surrounding landscapes one takes pleasure in contemplating while lazing on the upper deck.

Detailed itinerary:

 Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city – Can Tho – Cai Be – overnight on cruise (Meals: Lunch, dinner)

7.00am – 7.30am: pick tourists up in Ho Chi Minh city and proceed to Can Tho city.

11.30am                   :  Arrive to Ninh Kieu dock, boarding the cruise vessel and check-in

12.00am                  :  Panorama cruise and lunch on board around 13.00

16.00pm                  :  Guided walk to a rural village or through the lush greens of orchards and rice paddies

17.30pm                   :  Return to the boat for refreshment and to enjoy the sunset on the top deck

19.00pm                   :  Dinner on board. Overnight on cruise

 Day 2: Cai Be – Tan Phong island – Can Tho – overnight on cruise (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)

6.30am             : Morning cruise and morning tea break served on board

8.00am             : Excursion on rowing sampan, exploring small canals of Tan Phong islet, coconut candy producing family.

10.00am           : Bicycle ride on back roads or walk in a small village along the Mekong Canals

12.00am            : Panorama cruise and lunch on board around 13.00

16.00pm            : Afternoon walk to a rural village or cooking class on board

19.00pm             : Dinner on board. Overnight on cruise

 Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh city (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

6.30am              : Morning cruise and morning tea break served on board

8.00am             : Excursion on a long sampan to Cai Rang floating market and noodle producing family

11.00am            : Disembark to Ninh Kieu dock and proceed to Ho Chi Minh city. Lunch en route

16.30pm           : Arrive to Ho Chi Minh city.

Route 2: Ho Chi Minh  city– Cai Be – Can Tho – Cai Be – Ho Chi Minh city
